Spine Surgery

Many neck and back conditions are treatable through minimally invasive surgical techniques. Minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) uses the same principles as arthroscopic surgery, but with slightly different surgical instruments. Instead of using the arthroscope with the images broadcast on a screen, MISS uses fluoroscopy, a type of real-time X-ray imaging that guides the surgeon to the treatment area.
